Bourbon, Broncos and NO B.S. - Sean Payton is Locked In

[00:00:00] Broncos and No B.S. [00:00:29] "Sam, replacement, kick all the way. And Denver's going to the AFC Championship game." [00:00:40] Good evening, Broncos Country. Welcome to another edition of the Bourbon, Broncos & No B.S. Tuesday show. Guys, we are glad to be with you here tonight. Hit that share button. Hit that like button. Post your comments and post your questions. OTAs are over — mandatory minicamp is underway. We have Broncos news to talk about — things that actually are happening in the moment and unfolding as we speak. So Adam, dude, I'm so glad you're here. I know you had a little vacation. Hopefully it was a good one, but it's always good talking to you here on a Tuesday night. [00:01:14] Thanks, Kev. Yeah, the fam took some time to see the fine establishments on the West Coast, notably Legoland and SeaWorld, and they were fun. They were fun. The company was a little questionable, and I'm talking about my son, not my wife, but — I do. I want to clarify that. I need — [00:01:40] Yeah, no, I think that's a very smart call on your part. It's a truthful statement, but it's just — it's something that you need to clarify. Yes. [00:01:49] Want to get that out there. It lives in the internet now. So I got to clarify that. But yeah, we have actual Broncos stuff happening. Like, they're having minicamps. Guys are getting signed. Guys are getting cut. Guys are getting coughed — [00:02:06] Cuffed. [00:02:07] Too soon? [00:02:08] Too soon? [00:02:09] Hey, well, it's not "allegedly," because that did happen. That did happen. [00:02:15] The cuffing actually happened, yes. [00:02:18] But yeah, we got some interesting updates about Jonathon Cooper that came out of minicamp today. Yes. [00:02:26] Before we get into that, there's one little thing that I want to bring up. Other than hitting that share button, posting your likes and questions and comments, all that stuff. One little thing — apparently I haven't read the full story yet. I just saw it. My wife just sent it to me. Sounds like there was a construction worker that was found deceased in the new Broncos training facility. All I want to say here is, to whoever that individual is and whoever their family is, our deepest condolences. I hope not — [00:02:58] Yeah, I just — you don't know what it was with something like that. So just, whatever was going on, I hope that, you know, the family's okay, and they get through this as best they can. But just our deepest condolences from all of us here at the channel to that family. Absolutely needed to get that out of the way. [00:03:19] Because we don't even know what happened right now. It's still a developing story from what I saw. Basically, the guy was found unresponsive, and unfortunately they weren't able to bring him back. And so I know that it's a little Bronco-adjacent, but still — anytime you hear news like that, that's sad. It is. [00:03:39] It is. [00:03:40] Again, to echo what you said, Kev — just condolences and our prayers. Obviously he was somebody's family and somebody's friend, and so they're probably having a hard time right now. Yeah. Well, let's get to some other tough news that we've been having to deal with the last couple of weeks, because it's been a recurring situation. Jonathon Cooper apparently just doesn't know how to follow a restraining order, allegedly. We — This thing's a discrepancy. I'm going to say it's allegedly. I'm not going to comment. I haven't read the full affidavits — multiple. I don't know the particulars. We're going to let the court system play out, the justice system play out. [00:04:28] We're going to have to wait and see. Regardless of what happens there — whether Cooper is convicted of anything or not, what the league disciplinary process is going to be, and how that's going to play out — this could be a situation, and I'm not — there's a real-world situation here that needs to be dealt with. Right? Cooper needs to take care of himself. He needs to get himself on track. And I hope he does. And I hope this just is like a whole thing that was blown out of proportion and nothing happens to anybody and we're all okay. [00:04:59] Right. Right. If we're looking at the football side of things, and we're looking at it through the lens of him being a team player — and I'm going to say it — look, that number zero should mean something. That number zero means something in college football, and when they allow players to bring it, you know, to the NFL to wear it — that was a thing. That is a guy that you want to wear that number. That is a leader. He's not wearing a "C" on his chest, but that is the dog, right? That is the guy that you look to, that is really supposed to elevate the team. [00:05:31] So to see the guy on our team who I've had mad respect for this whole time go out there and pull some shenanigans like this, to put them in bad situations — I don't know. He's putting the team in a terrible situation where he could be suspended the first six weeks of the season, Adam. I'm just throwing that number out there because that's the worst-case scenario. Obviously, I don't think it would be that long, but any amount of time in that first six weeks is going to kill us. [00:06:04] I don't even want to speak to the — whatever happened, I don't — and I just want to let the legal process play out, and whatever they deem, who's responsible, consequences, whatever. But to echo what you said: no, this is a defensive leader. This is one of the guys that people look to in the locker room — one of the emotional heartbeats of the team. And now you have this guy who's in some trouble. [00:06:35] And I don't know that it's necessarily going to be an issue in the locker room where guys are talking about "what's up with Jon Cooper." But it is a distraction, because now you have a very vital piece of the defense having to deal with stuff outside of football. And when he has to split his attention between whatever goes on in the legal process — that's a distraction to what's going on with him and what goes on with the team. [00:07:06] Yeah. Again, I don't know — for a guy who, this is a first-time offender, this — it kind of sounds like a he-said, she-said type of deal. I don't know if that's worth six games, but let's say, just for argument's sake, it is six games. That's a third of the season. And that first six games that Denver has is absolutely brutal. So yes, that is a massive problem that has the potential to be an even bigger problem. [00:07:42] And it's not for nothing that he was, you know, essentially sent home today and just said, "Hey, you got personal problems, man. You got to work those out." [00:07:50] "We can't have you here — for your benefit and for ours." I totally agree. And the distraction is — we're sitting here talking about other news. It's a thing that people have — I mean, part of it is, we're all so desperate for something real to talk about. Right? I'll admit it. There's a reason I haven't made a short on it. Because I don't want to talk about this. This is stupid. And the first arrest, whatever — don't know, we'll have to wait and see. [00:08:23] When the second arrest happened, with all that violating-restraining-order stuff — that's when I got pissed off. That's when you can't really be like, "Well, could it have been —" No. Like, he was — and apparently he was there banging on her door for 10 minutes, allegedly. Right? But he was there long enough for the police to show up to see that he was still there. So we got problems, dude. You got to figure it out. Go take care of it. Get back here as soon as you can. James, to your comment here — I will just say, if you're hearing anything specifically, that's all just rumor. [00:08:54] That's all just clickbait. It's rumor. It's like what I was saying — that would be worst case for our scenario. I don't think a punishment like that is going to get six weeks. But if you're hearing anyone say like, "Oh, you know, the NFL is apparently saying this" — it's way too soon for the NFL to even be really giving some solid input onto what they think it could be. So here's how I'm going to wait to see: it could be one week. It could be nothing. It could be six weeks. I don't know. [00:09:22] Yeah, but I honestly think that the Broncos and Sean Payton did the right thing today. And for as harsh as that may come across — I got to think that Sean is all — I mean, he's proved it time and time again. He's about the business of football. This is a team about the business of football. And if you got stuff in your personal life that's causing some problems — I mean, I know the jobs that I've had are not on the level of an NFL player, [00:09:55] but I've seen it with myself. I've seen it with other people. When you step foot through the doors of work, you got to leave your personal stuff at home. And you can pick it back up when you're done. But you got to leave it at home. This seems like a situation where Sean sent a message to the team, and also sent a message to Cooper, of: "You need to take care of your personal problems, and your personal problems need to stay at home." So I hope — and as somebody who likes Jonathon Cooper — [00:10:28] I mean, not just as a player — but just like, he just seems like the kind of guy that you follow and you rally around. You get a beer with, yeah. [00:10:38] You just sit down and have a chill time with. Yeah. [00:10:41] Yeah. So, I mean, I hope, for the sake of everything, that he learns from it, he moves on from it. And this is just one of those "remember back when" stories that we'll talk about years from now. But right now, it's not looking great. [00:10:58] Yeah. So look, more to come on that as information becomes available and confirmed, right? We're not going to give you guys fake crap. If there's something confirmed, come here, or message us — or I'm going to lead this into a little segue. If you have a question of, "Hey, KevDan, I heard this. Is that for real?" or "Is this something that you could talk about on the show?" — well, we got a little something for you guys. We got a little something here. [00:11:35] Um, head on over to the Bourbon, Broncos & No B.S. site here — let me pull this up, big screen, boom. I'm going to hide the comments for a second, guys — we got merch. It's official. We got merch. The Mile High Moments Collection. I'm going to be building this out — select iconic, legendary moments from Denver Broncos history that you can now walk around and wear. If you have a bunch of Bills fans around you, man, get this Mile High Moments — the "Ruling Stands" shirt — just to remind them. I even made sure you see the football — [00:12:06] clearly, as depicted in the actual image — the football clearly in the Broncos defender's hand there. So just saying — go check out the merch shop. We also got the Fan Zone, or "The Huddle." If you want to send us — ooh, that's not the right page. If you want to send us a mailbag question, send that on in there. We also got a fan forum. You can check out the roster of the Broncos once you're signed in. Depth chart, Pick'Em — we got all this stuff. Of course, you need to sign in [00:12:37] to see the content. But I'll give you guys a little sneak preview, why not. Boop-a-doop-a-doo. Gonna have to give it away — giving away some of the secrets. So you see what you're getting when you pay the one-dollar membership. One dollar, one-time membership, never again. It's not a subscription — one dollar, one-time, up front. Eventually it's going to become five dollars, so get in now while it's only one dollar. Daily updated topics — you can check back here, enter your thoughts and comments, and talk to us all day long about whatever the topic is set here for us. [00:13:09] Again — the roster, we got the depth chart, we got history, stuff here that is taking forever to load. When the season opens, we're going to have a whole Pick'Em challenge. We're going to have winners every week who are going to get stickers from the merch shop. The end-of-the-season winner is going to get a Broncos jersey of your choice and like two select options from the merch shop of your choice. Second place is going to get prizes. Yeah, there's going to be a whole ton of things we're going to be working on in this website, guys. So it is up. It is running. If you thought last year's was good — [00:13:40] well, I don't know what you were thinking, 'cause that was like a D-minus. This is like — I would honestly grade this like an A website. There is no other Broncos fan website like this out there. Guys, head on over to BroncosAndBourbon.com today. Sign up. One dollar — one lifetime fee. That's it. You're done. You get free access to absolutely everything, to include the discount codes within this. And I'm going to go ahead and share it here for the people watching. I'm not going to say it out loud for people listening to the podcast when it's prerecorded, but — [00:14:12] if you're watching, you see the code. But all the other codes, you're going to have to log in to see what that code is. Additionally, the last thing I'm going to say here, guys — let me do a quick check. We are sitting at 999 subscribers on YouTube. We are one away from a thousand. And I offered this last week, I'm going to offer it — because it's been a whole week — I'm going to offer this once again: if we get to a thousand followers — if we get to a thousand, one more before the end of tonight — somebody watching the show here live is going to win something from the merch store [00:14:48] for free. So crazy. Head on over to our YouTube. Make sure you're subscribed. If you're not, hit that subscribe button. I'll check again at the end of the show. And if you hit a thousand, then somebody that's watching us here live tonight will win something from the merch store for free. So that's all of our stuff, guys. Check it out. And also, we are live. Yeah. [00:15:14] I have a question, Kev. Why do you like needling our football brethren from Buffalo? Why do you like needling them so much? Did a Buffalo Bills fan steal your lunch at one point? [00:15:30] This is a fair question. This is a fair question. Look, as I'm trying to become more of an — I'm a "amount to say in your face" content creator — I don't mind saying some things that piss people off, against — smack talk, right? I'm not going to say anything vulgar, or directly like "you're a fat ass." Like, I'm not going to do stuff like that. Right? But I'm going to talk smack about your team. And if I'm playing your team this week, you know — game on. Hey, your team sucks, and if you're following this team, I don't know what you're thinking, right? [00:16:04] So before we played them in the Wild Card game a couple years ago, I made a video. Oh, all I did — here's the thing, here's all I did — I said, "Buffalo fans, I have something here for you. Let me list it. Oh — here's the Super Bowl trophy that you've never won. Don't you like it? Don't you admire how pretty it is? Yeah, it's hefty. Let me put this down." That's all I did. That's all I did. [00:16:35] You would have thought that I was out in Buffalo, like, kicking dogs in the face. I swear, the messages we got back from Buffalo fans were horrific. Okay — to the dude, I honestly — I hope, and I say this seriously, I hope you were in your mom's basement — because sitting down like this with your 500-pound belly, shirtless, sending me videos — stop. Just, never again — do not send me that stuff, [00:17:06] dude. So that's all it is — they gave me a reason to keep picking at them. And, fair enough — why not? I said, why not? So — [00:17:18] I'm just saying, it's trending towards the territory of a little personal. A little personal. [00:17:25] Well, if you look — that was just one of the shirts. The other designs I have, like Von Miller's strip-sack from Super Bowl 50 against Cam Newton. If you also remember back to 2021, where they did the missing-man formation for Demaryius Thomas. The design — it's good. I need to make it better. But the design is there. It's like the formation our players were in, and where Demaryius Thomas would have stood, with the iconic 88 in that blue circle. [00:17:56] Right? So there's lots of different things. I just picked that one because it was recent, and, well — the ruling stands. So I'm just going to go with that. But anyway, guys — with that — if you have an idea, if you're like, "Man, this is like one of my favorite all-time Broncos moments, and I would love to buy a shirt that showcases this moment because I was at that game, it was special to me, I was watching it with my dad and we just cheered" — if that's a moment to you that you would love to have captured in this series, [00:18:28] send us a message through the mailbag or through one of the "contact us" buttons throughout the page. Just say, "Hey, here's an idea. Could you create this?" I'm going to at least try. I'm going to try. And if it looks good and presentable, I'll put it up on the shop. I'll even give you a discount for coming up with the idea and sending it to me. But we're going to build this out. It's going to be a whole series for people to go out there and buy and be able to wear their favorite moment. [00:18:53] Very cool. You've been a busy little bee there, Kev. [00:18:57] Oh, the last three weeks have been — I built — I tore this thing down to the bones, and I replaced the bones, and I built it back up, because my attempt the first time was bad. So I — I see, like — these beautiful-mind-like equations going in your head, and like — [00:19:14] "Oh yeah" — and like, Mrs. KevDan, bringing you a cup of coffee: "Honey, when are you gonna come to bed?" And you're like, "I can't, I can't, I gotta —" Basically, yeah. No, you're not far off. That's the thing — you're pretty close to reality [00:19:31] there, buddy. 'Cause I know. So, hey guys, once again, go check out BroncosAndBourbon.com. It's super cheap right now. It will always be a one-time lifetime membership fee. It's only one dollar right now. Eventually it'll be five dollars, and — this goes for another 10 years, it could be more expensive. So everybody who signed up for free before got a free lifetime membership upgrade. They do not have to pay ever. You guys missed out. [00:20:03] Sorry. I told you for a year you needed to pay — when it was — to sign up when it was free. Now it's a dollar. Anyway — enough beating the drum about the website. We're going to be talking about a whole lot more, but it is awesome. It's going to be continuing to build out, and there's already stuff on there daily for you guys to go check out. And once the season starts, it's going to be even more fun. Again — one more follower, a subscriber on YouTube before the end of the show tonight, and somebody gets something from the merch shop for free. Check it out right now. Make sure you're following. Okay, Adam — back to Broncos football talk, because I know we kind of went down a weird winding path there, but it was fun. [00:20:37] It was a good conversation. I appreciate it, because I liked the Bills Super Bowl trophy story. Bo Nix — our guy, our guy Bo Nix — was at practice today, practicing. He even did a press conference interview, of course he did, afterwards. And he said he hasn't seen the images himself, but according to the doctors, it's as good as new. And the funny thing is, he did say he had one concern — or somebody asked him, [00:21:12] "Do you have a concern, or any concerns?" And he said his only concern was that his ankle hasn't been as good as new for several years now. So he's just worried that he's going to be even faster than he has been before. So yeah. You know, I guess Bo does have a little bit of a humor side to him. But dude, I mean — of course he's going to say it's good, no matter what — but he's practicing. He seems confident, and that's what we need, dude. [00:21:45] And I did see some footage of him out there throwing it around a little bit. I caught a little bit of the press conference on Facebook as I was scrolling through. But I just want to say — we saw him throwing the pill around, right? And we saw him complete some passes to Jaylen Waddle, right? And did anybody else just have this little squeal of excitement? Just like — because if Jaylen Waddle is everything that we think he'll be, and there's good reason to think that he will, [00:22:21] this offense — with Bo as the trigger man, you got your two outside guys in Sutton and Waddle, the offensive line that's coming back, the two-headed monster that they may have in the backfield with Dobbins and R.J. Harvey, with Jonah Coleman spelling either or both of those guys — you just — get excited for this season. And honestly, Bo Nix is the catalyst for that. Because if Bo is less than 100%, and if Bo isn't — or maybe you're carrying something lingering into the season — ugh, like — [00:23:00] that kills your buzz real quick. But at the same time — yeah, seeing him out there with the team, and throwing the ball around, and seeing him talk — I mean, this is the first time we've really seen him talk since the end of last season. So if you can't get excited for that — I mean, I don't know what to tell you. Because seeing number 10 out there just made you feel good. It made you feel a little reassured that things are going to be [00:23:34] back to normal here pretty soon for Bo. Yeah. I mean, we weren't expecting him until — what, training camp? — because he didn't make it for OTAs. So for him to be out there maybe a little bit earlier than anticipated, and for him to be getting time in with his guys — you know, when this is the time to get it in — I mean, nothing but good, nothing but good news there on that end. Agreed. [00:24:03] Speaking of good news — because I want to talk about this a little bit more — but speaking of good news: it is official, ladies and gentlemen, we have a thousand subscribers on YouTube! Thank you to whoever the thousandth subscriber is. And we are going to pick a winner from whoever is watching this show. So if you're watching right now, drop a comment saying "I'm here," I'm going to add your name to a spinner wheel, we're going to spin, and I'll tell you how to claim your prize. But we're giving away something from the merch shop tonight. It's going to be fantastic. [00:24:36] Drop a comment so I can add your name to the spinner wheel, and we'll do that right before the end of the show. Nice. Okay — Bo Nix. Yeah, dude, this is something — like, we've built this team around Bo Nix, right? So getting him back healthy, in a position where he has time to get comfortable again, get his body acclimated again, start really getting through the motions and getting comfortable — is key, right? I didn't want him to be doing that during training camp. Because Bo, being the quarterback, and Bo being Bo, Bo's going to go 100 in training camp, right? Yeah — even if Bo's body [00:25:14] is not 100% ready, Bo's going to go 100. So to think about him waiting until training camp to, like — "okay, now I'm getting out on the field, here we go, now we're doing" — there's just such an increase in risk for injury, I believe, at that point. So to do it now, where it's like lower pressure — slower reps, just going through the motions — this is the perfect time. And so, yeah, as bad of a situation as this has been — I don't know how Colorado sports are cursed this year, [00:25:46] but they just are, something like that. Right. Yeah, exactly. So look — it's just really good news, and my anxiety factor is decreasing quickly on that front, at least. [00:26:03] What Kev is saying is that you're not going to get Nervous Kev right now. And Nervous Kev, I mean — chews him down to the quick, and is kind of insufferable with how much worry he gets. If you've seen him at the tailgate worrying, it can be a little distracting. At that point, you're also drinking, then. [00:26:26] So, well — we're kind of encouraging him to have some spirits and just, you know, relax a little bit. [00:26:35] We're having fun. Yeah. [00:26:37] Agreed. No — it's, once you hit me at the stadium around people right before the game, like, no, I'm going, like — you know, it's go time. So the emotions are let free at that time. There's just no stopping me there. So guys — we have a few more minutes. We're going to go through, we're going to do some closing thoughts and everything. I only have two names so far for the spinner wheel right now: it's Jeremy and Roy. Roy, I hope you're doing okay. I think I remember you said last week you were in the hospital. Hopefully [00:27:09] everything's okay. Whether that was you — or either way — I think — see you, buddy. I hope you're doing well. Um, guys, send me your name, put it in the chat comment right now — that you're here, they are watching — so I know that when I spin the wheel, you're going to see that you won a prize. So I can tell you how to win it. But I only have two names right now — it's either Roy or Jeremy. And so it [00:27:29] may not be a spinner wheel — maybe like a — yeah, like one of these things — we'll do rock-paper-scissors. I'll be Roy, you be Jeremy, and — all right. [00:27:37] A free prize from the Bourbon, Broncos & No B.S. merch store, guys, coming up here soon. Adam — what, before closing thoughts — you know, what's next? Minicamps going on right now. What are the players really doing between minicamp and training camp? You know, what does that look like? Because we have about a month before training camp starts. So I imagine these guys are doing something to be getting ready. Yeah — I mean, typically, that space in between minicamp ending and training camp starting, a lot of the players [00:28:16] either take this as their kind of last vacation — maybe — or maybe doing some light workouts. But this is kind of the time where they really start getting their bodies ready for the grind of the season. And kind of getting back to what we were saying about Bo — I mean, I really — and I'm really appreciative to the fact that he is knocking off the rust now. This isn't going to be something that he's going to have to carry into training camp, and he's going to be using training camp as, like, the point where he's starting to work himself back into shape. [00:28:49] I also think that right now, especially with Jaylen Waddle coming into the mix — this is also the time that you need to get those reps in with Waddle. And the more reps you get in with Waddle, and trying to work him into the dynamic of the offense — that's something that we want to see. And one of the biggest strengths that Denver's had — and it's been the continuity with the coaching staff, the same players coming back. You know, these are guys who don't really have to worry about install and doing all those things. [00:29:22] I mean, there may be a couple of wrinkles here and there, but this is largely going to be the same team that comes back. This is going to be the same offensive philosophy that's being brought back, the same defensive philosophy that gets brought back. Both coordinators — well, I mean, Sean is giving up the play-call sheet, but he's given that to somebody who was in the system. And of course, B.J. coming back. So these are all things that are all trending towards Denver [00:29:53] having a lot of stability, then. And it's something that, you know, we've talked about that we always haven't had heading into the season. So I'm really appreciative that they'll have that going in. I know that doesn't really answer the question of what they're doing in the meantime, but that short little break — I fully expect that you're going to see a lot of them staying in town to keep working out. [00:30:16] Yeah. It's just one of those things — like, we don't hear it, we don't see it. And this is, I think, you know, all year long, but this time too — like, these guys are still putting in the work, you know? [00:30:28] And I think it's kind of funny — I heard the athletic trainers for the Carolina Hurricanes, at the beginning of the season, without any explanation — Jose, I'll add you to the list too — without any explanation, put in the weight room a 35-pound cinder block, and told the guys that they needed to do exercises with the cinder block. You know, because apparently the shape, or however they describe it — they're like, "Oh yeah, it's like this type of exercise, it's good for you." But what the athletic trainers were really doing was getting them used to lifting the 35-pound Stanley Cup. [00:31:05] Wow, that's cool. Isn't that a cool story? That's a cool little story. [00:31:10] Yeah — so there's pictures of the guys doing workouts with the cinder block. And it's like, "Oh yeah, it's the same way" — they did that. Anyway, maybe we need something like that. Like, obviously the trick's out of the bag now, right? But, you know, maybe something to kind of make them keep them focused. Look — I do still stand by the statement I had earlier this offseason of: this is a Broncos Super Bowl year. I think they have everything going for them. I mean, the way it is right now — health, knock on wood, staying good — [00:31:42] but that they just overcome these challenges like they did last year. One of the big ones — obviously, we'll talk about more next week, because I want to do some more diving into this myself — teams historically that do really good one season, and being a comeback team: the next season normally do not perform very well in those comeback situations, or those, you know — they're behind and trying to catch up at the end of the game there. So we saw — if you want to just see a recent example, look at the Chiefs. [00:32:16] Two years ago, they were the comeback kings, and we hated them for it. Right? This last year, they were in a lot of close games again, and they couldn't do it. Even with Patrick Mahomes. Right? They struggled a lot. So the Broncos need to be very mindful of that. And they just cannot put themselves in those situations. This is another year where they have to take a step forward. Last year was great for what they did, and the positions they were in, and how they fought through it all. But Adam — just a couple of thoughts from you here on this — but again, we'll go into more next week. But, you know, the idea of: we cannot be a comeback team again this year, because if we're in that situation, [00:32:50] it's probably not going to go our way. [00:32:53] I mean, we've talked about the strength of that first part of the season, where easily — like, you get off to a so-so start, maybe like a 2-and-4, 3-and-3 start, you could overcome that with getting hot later in the year, or by playing better ball later in the year. You cannot do the same thing if you go down 2-4 or 1-5, or, God forbid, anything worse than that. So getting off to that good start is pretty paramount at this time. [00:33:26] And, you know, I take a lot of heat for being kind of pragmatic sometimes. But I'll tell you right now — the Broncos were a couple wins away from — from losing games last year. The Washington game came down to one play. Off the top of my head, both Raider games were pretty close. [00:33:51] The Giants game — the Giants game, we came back, and then we almost blew it, and we had to come back again. Come back again. [00:33:57] That was too close. So I really hope that the team has maybe taken those lessons from last year and used that as — you know what, guys — we know the focus and we know where it needs to be, and we know the performance that we need to have in order to win games. We can't just leave it till the fourth for Bo to pull it out of the fire. Got to play better, and we got to execute better. And I really do kind of feel that them bringing everybody back, and maybe adding a little piece here and there, was actually what they're thinking. [00:34:34] The same thing is that, you know, we have the guys here. We just got to execute a little bit better in, you know, a couple of different spots. And maybe these games go from being one-score games to being two-score games to being blowouts. So I think that's something that can happen, especially with the way that the team is constructed right now. [00:34:55] Yeah. It's going to be a fun season. There's going to be highs, there's going to be lows. But we're going to be here through all of it, guys, through all of it. I don't think we have anything left to do tonight, right, Adam? Was that it? Was that the show? Anything else you were going to do? [00:35:10] Oh, I was — Gary said I was going to do a dance. [00:35:16] Oh, yes, yes — the dance. That's what we're all waiting here for. People are — yes, the dance. I've been waiting for this. You told me about it about a month ago. So you've been working on it, kind of perfecting, polishing it. So I don't want to ask to put you on the spot, but — you bring it up, and I don't know, man, I'm excited. [00:35:34] All I can give you guys — I'll just give you the hitch. I'm just — arms 90 degrees and side to side, but that's smooth. Oh, you look like a pro. That's the thing. Gentlemen, come in really close. You don't have to be a good dancer. Just do this. Just — and go to the beat. Like this? Boom. Yeah. Like this. [00:35:57] Yeah. [00:35:57] You can even kind of move your head a little bit. I don't know about that. I don't know about that. [00:36:02] Oh — not around town. [00:36:04] Okay. Just right here. No — not around town. Oh, there we are again. And now you're back. So Adam — any closing thoughts, any closing words from you, as the Broncos are wrapping up minicamp and season is not that far away, [00:38:53] dude. [00:38:54] I'll keep it short and sweet. There was a New England Patriots player — oh yeah — his name is Chad Muma. Or "mama," whatever his name is. But I'm going to — Chadwick here decided to open his word-hole and say really crazy things, kind of unprovoked, saying that basically Bo Nix — or, no, New England was going to win that AFC Championship game anyway. So, Chad — [00:39:25] can I call you Chad? — I am going to lay this little nugget on you that I took from that great street prophet known as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and tell you to know your role — which is on special teams — and shut your mouth. Okay? I didn't realize he was a special-teamer. There are more ways than one, but — but dude, like, seriously, Chadwick — just, you know, cover kickoffs, and make sure to get, you know, [00:40:05] drink me a water every once in a while, okay? Make yourself useful. And keep my team out your mouth, all right? I like it. I'm done. That's clip-worthy right there, Adam. [00:40:16] That, honest to God, is clip-worthy. Because I agree with that a thousand percent, dude. A thousand percent. [00:40:24] I drop truth all the time. [00:40:26] Dude, I saw that story. I was like — I didn't recognize the name, so I didn't pay attention to who he was. Who are you? Some meathead, stupid Patriot. Okay, whatever he says is already worth about two craps and a nickel — and the nickel's already covered in crap. But to know that he's a special-[teamer] — that's it. Sorry, dude. You're a scrub. You're a nobody. You're lower. [00:41:00] Yeah. You played your ball at Wyoming, bro. You know why you played your ball at Wyoming, where there's eight people per square mile? It's because you couldn't play for CU, bro. So I'm just saying. Yeah, I'm just saying. [00:41:14] Ask Josh Allen. He'd agree with that. Oh — again. See, now I had to — now I'm thinking about it. Now I'm aware of it. Um, guys — okay, Vic, Vic, I will look out for that email from you. If you send it tonight, I'll reply to you tonight. Guys, there's going to be more giveaways and stuff from the merch shop. Go — and a lot of special offers, you know, limited-time offers — you know, if we win special games or whatever, we'll come up with some stuff. So just keep an eye out. It's going to be dynamic, it's going to be awesome, and it's all built for you all. It's not built for me. [00:41:48] It's built for me as a fan to interact with you other fans. It's built for Adam as a fan — not David, because he's Team Puffball, I don't like him very much — I'm just kidding, I love David, David I love you, bro. And anyway — go check that site out, guys. Again, we'll be bac[k]...
